Typically, when a content search operation is carried out there is no way to search from scanned documents but in SmartProject, this is now possible. You can use the OCR facility to quickly retrieve documents that have been converted into and stored as images. So, when a content search is initiated, SmartProject will search not just the text files but all the other file types that were converted into images or PDFs.
