Provision to Specify a Point of Contact While Creating a Tender
Currently during tender creation when a vendor is added the default user selected against the vendor code is considered as the ‘point of contact’ user. Hence the notifications regarding the tender will be sent to the registered email address of the default user account for the vendor. But for vendors having multiple offices across different locations, the contact person may vary for different locations and specializations. As a solution to this, specifying a contact person while creating the tender is recommended so that this person receives such notifications.
