Presently, when conducting an Export to Excel operation from the (work breakdown structure) Wrench SmartProject’s WBS, the “select all columns” option is automatically chosen by default, increasing the likelihood of users proceeding with the export without altering this setting. When dealing with a substantial number of columns, such as approximately 2500, this can lead to system unresponsiveness and server down.
In this current build version, the “select all columns” option has been removed from the bulk export wizard window. Upon selecting the “select columns” option and clicking the next button, users are directed to a window for column selection. Here, the number of columns available for export is restricted to 250, with the count of selected columns displayed in the designated pane. If more than 250 columns are chosen, clicking the forward arrow to move selected columns triggers a warning message. Should users intend to export more than 250 columns, they must perform the export operation multiple times, each time selecting the required number of columns.
