In the latest build version of Wrench SmartProject, we’ve introduced several enhancements to streamline your email management, focusing on differentiating between authentication Email ID and notification Email ID. These changes will improve the way you manage email notifications and authentication, ensuring a smoother user experience.

Key Features:

• New Email Fields:
  • Authentication Email ID: Enter the email ID used for authentication and sending emails.
  • Notification email ID: Enter the email ID used for receiving notification emails.
  • If no Notification email ID is entered, the authentication email ID will be used as the notification email.
• Checkbox Options:
  • A new checkbox titled “use origin’s email address for sending emails” has been introduced. If checked, emails will be sent using the origin’s email address; if unchecked, emails will follow the user’s mail server settings.
• Email Settings Window:
  • Located under personal settings → email settings, this allows users to configure both authentication and notification email addresses, along with a password for authentication emails.
• Email Validation and Duplication Checks:
  • The notification email ID field no longer duplicates the validation checks from the previous email ID field. It is now validated against the authentication email ID.
• User Profile and Management:
  • Users can specify authentication and notification email addresses in the my Profile window and adjust email settings for better control over how notifications and emails are handled.
  • The new columns for authentication email ID and notification email ID are now available in user management features such as user master and export/import Users.
