Archirodon to use Wrench SmartProject for project collaboration and management on $489M Bab oil field project
15 Jan 2020, Abudhabi: Athens-based Oil and Gas company Archirodon Construction Overseas SA Co (Archirodon) has adopted Wrench SmartProject as its information and collaboration management platform on the $489M Bab onshore field project they are executing for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). Archirodon will build the facilities and infrastructure required to sustain long-term crude oil production capacity of the field at 485,000 barrels per day.
Archirodon switched to SmartProject at the insistence of their client, ADNOC, who introduced them to it in the first phase of the project, which was being executed by CPECC and CPE. Both CPECC and CPe are long-time users of SmartProject.
ADNOC wanted to get the project stakeholders to transition together to SmartProject because they had seen the benefits of the platform on previous projects. ADNOC asked that Archirodon get on the system in a bid to efficiently manage and monitor the project, and also asked that they work with CPE on the engineering as they had been very satisfied with the results from previous interactions involving CPE and the SmartProject system. The complete Bab project is now being executed on the SmartProject platform.
The implementation is slated to be completed in under a month.
Said Manesh, COO, Wrench “I am delighted to be working with Archirodon on this project. It is a matter of pride that ADNOC has recommended the usage of our system and has such confidence in it. It is also a pleasure to work again with old customers like CPECC and CPE. Now with Archirodon along with the rest of the team working together on the same platform, I am confident that the entire team will see huge benefits. The seamless collaboration between engineering, contractor, and client will be most valuable to all the stakeholders.”
