India, 11th September 2024: Baldota Steel & Power Limited (BSPL), the Baldota Group’s foray into the steel manufacturing space, has chosen to implement Wrench SmartProject EDMS on their upcoming integrated steel plant at Hospet, Karnataka. The 3.5 MTPA is envisaged with an investment of INR 18,000 Crores and will be set up in 2 Phases. Phase 1, commissioning is planned by Quarter 2 of 2026.

BSPL needed a system to manage internal project collaboration. They opted for the SmartProject Engineering Deliverable Management System which provides the required third party software integrations, including integration with their Email software Outlook, their project planning and scheduling software MS Project and Primavera respectively, and  with SAP.

BSPL is open to upgrading to the Wrench SmartProject PMIS in the future.
