Al Hassan Engineering to use WRENCH system in 50 million Omani Riyal EPC contract.
16-1-2015: WRENCH system to manage the 50 million Omani Riyal Rabab Harweel power plant project awarded by Petroleum Development OMAN (PDO) to Al Hassan Engineering, Muscat. WRENCH system was set up as the online project control system and document management system integrating client, consultants, third-party vendors, and internal teams. By implementing WRENCH system entire document management procedures were automated. The document/drawing submission by their consultant MOTT MAC DONALD and vendors and review and approval cycle of these drawings/documents by client PDO is carried out through WRENCH system. The Storage and retrieval of files, revision management and submission and review process which created a bottleneck earlier between consultant, contractor and client has been rendered smooth by implementing Wrench.
“With online reports like overdue reports and look ahead reports being generated from WRENCH system we will have complete control over the project plan and progress. Managing our procurement register will be simplified using WRENCH system and with vendors also uploading documents to WRENCH system there will be a drastic reduction in review cycles. Further by making use of the powerful and reliable collaborative capability of WRENCH technology, better co-ordination of head office and project office will be possible. ” said Mathew P.M Head, IT, AL HASSAN Engineering.
