Habtoor Leighton Group to use WRENCH on $290 million North Gate Project
10-10-2012: Continuing its long-term association with technology providers WRENCH Solutions, the Habtoor Leighton Group turns once again to WRENCH technology to manage engineering processes and automate project management, this time on a mid-premium shopping mall and office project in Qatar. WRENCH was initially brought in by the company to streamline document management but is now used as a multi-discipline engineering platform on which projects are monitored and real-time collaboration is conducted between multi-located groups. Slated to complete in March 2014, the North Gate project represents the first phase of a mixed-use development in a growing neighborhood on one of Dohas strategically important arterial roadways (Al Shamal, North Road) with targeted luxury outlets attracting leading fashion, home, dining, leisure and entertainment brands along with superior office accommodation. The Habtoor Leighton Group is one of the leading contractors in the Middle East and North Africa with a reputation for innovative, practical solutions and services and more than 25,000 employees worldwide.
