WRENCH Solutions and Al Daman Global announces a business partnership agreement in Qatar
Doha, Qatar, 18-1-2015: WRENCH Solutions and Al Daman Global today announced a partnership to provide Qatar’s burgeoning construction and infrastructure market with project delivery and control software solutions. WRENCH already has a long-standing relationship with the Qatari EPC industry, with clients like the Qatar Design Consortium, Habtoor Leighton Group and Energy City, Qatar who have been using WRENCH technology since 2008. The partnership will allow EPC companies to plan and monitor their projects and in real-time, with complete control over all project deliverables.
“We are excited about the opportunity ahead”, said Sanjay Thomas, General Manager of Al Daman Global . “Qatar is poised for a tremendous infrastructure boom in line with its National Vision 2030, and will be hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup and other major world sports events in the next 4-5 years. Naturally the infrastructure will have to be significantly scaled up as part of this. But such projects are usually done on a fast-track schedule, which adds a lot of pressure to companies who still rely on manual methods or generic software like ERP, EDMS email, MS Office etc to keep projects running. WRENCH technology is the perfect solution in this case – it was designed exactly for such situations and within a few weeks of implementation brings in automation, efficiency, and transparency to the entire project process. This, coupled with Al Daman’s domain and local knowledge, will be of great value to Qatar EPC companies who will now be able to deliver projects on time and on budget, and also keep the various project stakeholders happy throughout the duration.”
Added Al Daman Operations Manager Bijo Mathewson, “The time-pressure on companies is staggering – a project that would normally be scheduled for 36 months is nowadays scheduled for 30 or even 24 months. Under such circumstances, delay becomes inevitable, like for example the Doha Airport which has been stalled for several years now. But the truth is that such delays are mainly due to internal project-delivery methods – like manually-driven processes, manually updated and shared data, too much reliance on human effort in quality control and progress monitoring….and so on. A technology that instead sets up an automated, real-time, web-based working environment will be a boon for this market.” WRENCH technology is in use by other leading Middle Eastern organisations like ENOC (Dubai) , VECO Engineering (Abu Dhabi) and is available both as a cloud-based system and a .net based ‘on-premises’ system, depending on each customer’s comfort level.
Varghese Daniel, Founder and CEO of WRENCH said “We are happy to be associated with Al Daman. Though a young company, they have deep domain experience and understand this market very well. We are sure that together we can provide innovative solutions backed by strong implementation, and world-class support.”
