Automatic Correspondence Sending after Workflow Completion in Wrench SmartProject
Wrench SmartProject introduces a time-saving feature to streamline the process of sending archived correspondence after workflow completion. This new feature eliminates the need for users to manually select and send correspondence, allowing them to focus on more critical tasks. By automatically redirecting users to the ‘Compose’ tab, SmartProject enhances efficiency in communication workflows.
Key Features:
- Automatic Redirection to ‘Compose’ Tab:
Once the workflow for archived correspondence is completed, users are automatically directed to the ‘Compose’ tab, simplifying the process of sending the correspondence via email. - New Setting in Genealogy Configurations:
A new setting, “add to correspondence on completing workflow,” is introduced in the genealogy configurations window. This setting can be found under Masters → Genealogy → Documents → Properties → Default Properties and controls whether the correspondence is automatically sent upon workflow completion. - Customization Options:
The setting can be enabled or disabled depending on the document source. If the resource is Wrench, this setting can be disabled. If the correspondence source is Wrench, it cannot be enabled. - Compatibility with Transmittal Settings:
The new feature can only be enabled when the “transmittal required for approval of WIP documents” setting is off. If this setting is enabled, users will receive an alert indicating that the feature cannot be applied. - Correspondence Genealogy Pop-up Window:
Upon workflow completion, the correspondence genealogy pop-up window appears. If the default correspondence genealogy (Wrench) setting is enabled, users are automatically directed to the Compose tab. If not enabled, users must manually select the appropriate correspondence genealogy before composing the email.
