Enhanced Budget and Cost Management: Streamlined Change Orders and Real-Time Updates
The latest update introduces enhanced flexibility and transparency in managing budget changes, commitments, and receivables. Key features include the ability to manually input variance amounts, view budget updates, and track projected and approved quantities, rates, and amounts. These improvements streamline change order and change request processes, ensuring better control and visibility over project costs.
Key Features
- Manual Variance Input for Change Orders
- Users can manually input variance amounts for Change Orders or Change Requests when budgeted amounts change but quantities remain the same.
- New “Budget Update” Section
- A new section in the Budget Line Item Details window displays Approved and Projected quantities, rates, and amounts, improving clarity on both approved and projected budget data.
- Commitment and Receivable Updates
- New sections Commitment Updates and Receivable Updates show both Approved and Projected values for commitments and receivables, reflecting changes from pending or approved change orders.
- BOQ Item Handling
- For commitments and receivables with BOQ items, quantities and rates are blank when multiple budget line items exist, and the approved amounts are recalculated based on variance amounts from change orders.
- Cost Management Window Modifications
- In the Change Order Details tab, columns are renamed to Approved Quantity, Approved Rate, and Approved Amount. A new No Change checkbox allows changes without altering variance details. Pending change orders are highlighted for better visibility.
