Tarun Solar to use WRENCH SMARTPROJECT as a data and collaboration system on 3200 crore power project
Delhi, 2-8-2016: Tarun Solar, a recent entrant to the Indian power generation sector through SOLAR(CPV) (SPV) and thermal power generation unit, will be using Wrench SmartProject technology to manage and monitor a multi-located power plant construction project. The projects includes a 250 MW plant in Bijapur, 50 MW plant in Tumkur, 50MW plant in Bikaner, and 50 MW plant in Jodhpur. With its vision to help India overcome the problem of electricity for domestic and industrial purpose, Tarun Solar needed a solution to manage thousands of project documents and correspondences which had to be shared, tracked and made available for operations and maintenance, as well as a reliable way to maintain communications between project stakeholders. Since they did not want to spend time or money on a custom-made solution they opted for Wrench SmartProject, which offers the functionality they wanted out of the box, including a shared online platform for project information exchange between all project participants. The various project teams will now be able to work with easily-configured Workflows for document review and approval processes.
“We expect Tarun Solar to see between 4-8% savings in their project costs and cross-team productivity to go up by at least 80%”, said Paul Robin, Head of Sales, India. “And now that they have a streamlined and system-driven process in place, they should be able to deliver 100% quality with ease.”
