Wrench SmartProject goes live at US $5 Billion Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor
Ambala, 16-8-2019: Tata Projects Limited today announced the Go-Live of Wrench SmartProject on their Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor project in Ambala, India. The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) is a special initiative under the administrative control of the Indian Ministry of Railways.
This complex project is executed as a joint venture between Tata Projects, the GMR Group (Contractor) and German railway company Deutsche Bahn (Project Management Consultant). Wrench SmartProject has been deployed as a collaborative platform for seamless communication between all the partners. Their client DFCCIL will also be working on the same system for seamlessly sharing the Engineering designs and all project-related correspondences.
Said Gaurav Kapoor, Project Manager at Wrench, “We expect Wrench SmartProject to bring visibility to the project process. Earlier there was no clarity between PMC and Contractor about the status of any drawing and document status, but now with Wrench SmartProject, the entire process has become transparent, with project correspondences being stored centrally and becoming accessible directly without the need for manual checking or followup. Multi-level Project Security was set up, so now documents can be safely accessed by authorized personnel from the Noida and Hyderabad offices.”
