Project details:
Jindal Steel & Power (JSP), a leader in India’s steel, mining, and infrastructure sectors, has chosen to deploy Wrench SmartProject EDMS for managing its project documentation. JSP has successfully built and operates India’s most modern 6 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant at Angul, Odisha, which includes India’s largest 4.25 MTPA Blast Furnace, a 1.2 MTPA Plate Mill, a 1.5 MTPA Bar Mill, and an 810 MW Captive Power Plant. Currently, JSP is in the process of expanding the plant’s capacity to 12 MTPA, with the vision to make Angul the world’s largest integrated steel plant by 2030. The project is supported by prominent contractors, including Essar, Mecon, Siemens Vai, Cisdi, L&T, Dastur, Danieli, Espic, and Lurgi, among others, while PPEL serves as the Project Management Consultant (PMC).
